How to Prepare and Submit a Case

This guide covers the complete workflow for preparing and finalizing a case for submission. Follow these steps to take a case from a draft, fill in all required information and clinical details, and successfully submit it to the Myline team for planning.

To manage your cases, click on the Cases link in the main header menu. A dropdown menu will appear showing the different case categories.

From the dropdown menu, click on Draft to see a list of cases that you have started but are not yet finished or submitted.

You will see a table of your draft cases. Pay attention to the Case Status column:

  • A document icon (📄) indicates that the case is missing required files.
  • A check mark icon (✓) indicates that all necessary files have been uploaded.

To add or edit case files, click the edit button (✎) on the right side of that case's row.

After clicking the edit button, you must complete all mandatory sections across the different tabs until the **Completion Progress** bar at the top of the page reaches 100%.

  • A. Case Submission Tab: (Mandatory)

you will define the entire treatment plan by answering a detailed questionnaire about the case.

Important Note: Pay close attention to options marked with [Rec.]. These are the Myline-recommended settings for the best results and predictability. When you are unsure about an option, it is always a good idea to select the recommended [Rec.] choice.

You will need to make selections for key aspects of the treatment, including:

    • The overall Treatment Package
    • Which Arches to be treated
    • Midline and Arch form preferences
    • Expansion and IPR (Interproximal Reduction) options
    • Attachment settings and other clinical details.

At the very bottom, you must fill in the 'Main aims of Treatment' text box. In your own words, please specify the orthodontic problems that need to be fixed for this case.

Once you have made all your selections, click Next.

  • B. Case Photos Tab: (Mandatory) Upload a photo for all the required views. Note that file sizes should not exceed 10 MB.
  • C. Scan Tab: (Mandatory) Upload a file for the Upper Arch, Lower Arch, and Bite.
  • D. Radiographs Tab: (Mandatory) You are only required to upload the Panoramic Radiograph.
  • E. Comments Tab: (Optional) Add any final comments or notes related to the case.

Once the Completion Progress bar shows 100%, the Submit button will become active. Click the Submit button to finalize the case and move it to the next stage.
